not so much 'oh, mum's fallen asleep' as 'mum's fallen into a (prescribed) methadone stupour again and knocked her presents all over the floor and you can hear her (fucking disguisting) wheezing from every room in the house, dad's gone out for a walk, we're not even allowed the TV on. apparently none of my school friends live here anymore or come back for christmas.
