Anyone following the Guardian's 'Best Films of the Noughties' blog?

ashstreath85 [Edit] [Delete] 14:03, 31 December '09

They've just announced Borat as no.2, and they seem dead-set on mirroring the unintentional comedy of announcing Original Pirate Material as the Best Album of the Noughties.

With only the top spot left to announce, there is so far no place for

Donnie Darko
Children Of Men
There Will Be Blood
Dead Man's Shoes
This Is England
The Lives Of Others
George Washington
When The Levees Broke
Lord Of The Rings Trilogy

amazing scenes! It would be OK if they were presenting the list as subjective, ie a selection of the critics favourite films, but by self-importantly calling it 'The Best...', they are having a laugh!
