POPSTAR TO OPERASTAR

"Can Pop Stars really become Opera Stars? For 6 weeks live on ITV1, we are going to find out!

Eight stars from the world of Pop will be trained by the very best from the world of Opera in the hope they can completely change their style of singing. Popstar to Operastar will be live every week and the viewers will decide who can cut it and who can’t.

The show gets under way with Bernie Nolan (The Nolans), Jimmy Osmond (The Osmonds, Darius (Pop Idol), Vanessa White (The Saturdays), Danny Jones (McFly), Alex James (Blur), Kym Marsh (Hear'Say), Marcella Detroit (Shakespear's Sister) singing, all being mentored by Katherine Jenkins and Rolando Villazon.

The show will be hosted by Myleene Klass & Alan Titchmarsh and the critics are Meatloaf and Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen."

It's being filmed in Jan/Feb, so BRING ON SPRING
