this has literally just happened to me, and it's really shit. and don't give me that 'at least you have a job' schtick, it doesn't make it feel any better.

anyway, has this ever happened to you? and if so, how did you handle it?

i was told last thursday that about 60% of my job was going to change and that all the stuff i'd been working on for over a year was going to someone else, and i'll be doing something completely different, that I don't want to do.

And other than being really angry and upset, seething at my desk, i don't really know what to do.

ARGH. i hate people.
