The recent earthquake in Haiti is the first time I've ever felt compelled to give money to charity (bear in mind I'm 18 here..)
I think it's touched me because the country really is so damn unlucky in pretty much every way, and this is another huge disaster to befall it. Anyway for whatever reason, I feel quite strongly that I should give my bit to help

So it set me wondering, does anyone give to charity? Regular? What charities? Why?

I don't think I know anyone that gives much apart from the odd bit of change into a bucket outside the supermarket, kind of shocking really
