ok, so i'm in a kind of big exhibition in a couple of months time, and they have asked me to submit a biography of around 100 words. I've put in where i was born and what degree i have and such but is it acceptable to be kind of jokey, like so:

"Catriona Gilbert was born in Inverness in 1988 and is a Scottish Sculptor and Visual Artist currently living and working in Edinburgh. Born to two Ecologist parents, she has spent most of her short life living in the Highlands, drawing birds and plants and hoping to go to Art College. She gained a BA (Hons) in Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art in 2009, and hopes to go on to study for a MFA in Art, Space and Nature at Edinburgh College of Art in 2010"

is that ok? bear in mind this will be going in all of their press and on their website and i don't want to look like a tool. Please also feel free to point out grammatical errors to your hearts content xx
