she's 60 and just learning about the internet

anyway, apparantly some of her friends are on it...so she's just told me about how absurd she finds it all

'i mean....why do you want to tell someone you're going to bed?'

'and why would you want everyone to see what you say to people'

'i can understand for 14 year old girls'

so i gave her a hug and was like,

'mum, i've been saying this shit for years....we're better than them...we really are'.

i'm thinking about starting 'families against facebook' at my local church hall, where people can just come and let of steam together. good idea, right?
