Many years ago when I got a laptop and started ripping my CDs onto it, I just used Windows Media Player. Then one day, I got an MP3 player, a Sony Walkman (because an iPod was expensive and, I had to face it, too nice for the likes of me).

The problem is I still have this Walkman, and still use Windows Media Player, where the rest of the world uses iTunes and iPods/phones.

My question is, IF I were to buy an iPhone, would putting music on there be a nightmarish proposition, or quite simple and straightforward?
