I had dinner with Tom Savini last night and I didn't mention 'Dawn of the Dead' once.
That's an achievement.
He taught me magic tricks and I asked whether he had worked with Danny Dyer, Vinne Jones or Jason Statham. 'No, but I've worked with George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, George Romero and made Salma Hayek into a monster. Will that do?' My response: 'We don't care much for those people in the UK.'
What a night.
