On Wednesday I went to visit a client of mine at HMP Chelmsford. It's actually the prison you see on the TV show Porridge - basically it's an old Victorian shit hole that doesn't seem to have changed in decades. I've been to a fair few prisons with work but this place in particular shocked me. My client doesn't even have hot water on his wing.
It really winds me up when you see these ignorant fuck wits on television talking about how luxurious prison has become.
Prison is fucking horrendous.
