Annoying right?

I'm going to have a little moan and then you can all tell me about your hellministration stories.

I got a job with a new leisure centre (which is due for completion in a couple of weeks). I passed the interview, the swim test and went to over a weeks worth of staff training. One of my mates asks me if I want a lift to training, but they told me nothing so I didn't know.

I phone them and they have no record of me on the system and claim I don't even have a job there. Finally I fill in all the necassary forms and give them to HR. They fail to contact me about further training so I phone them again and have the repeat all the same steps I did the previous time.

Finally I get sent an email confirming all my details and also a telephone call assuring me all my details are on the system, but she forgot to update the list which is why is missed the training details.

I phone today to ask a simple question and THEY HAVE NONE OF MY DETAILS ON THE SYSTEM and absolutely no idea who I am. Do I literally have to march down to their head office and show them I AM ALIVE?

I can't really miss out on a job like this as it pays well and it's doing something I'm qualified in etc etc.

If they turned around to me and said they were no longer letting me work there would there be anything I could do? Bearing in mind I had a phonecall nearly 2 months ago telling me I was employed and went to all training.

Annoying right?
