I can't quite put my finger on why its so uniquely painful

I think its the fact that they come nowehere near achieving the tone of ironic deliberate crapness that theyre striving for, and it just seems so joyless, hollow and smug. That, and that its about as funny as shitting yourself on the bus.

I happen to think Watson and Key are quite good in their day jobs
