I just watched a television programme on Sky player about death row in Texas. I do not agree with the death sentence and it truly was an eye opener. Even if they are complete psychos I still don't believe they should be sentences to death. One of the guys stories was particularly touching.

Something was raised in the show about the prisoner pen pal service. Do you think this is a good idea? Would you find warmth in the fact you are helping preserve a human life in the funal years/months/days of their life?

Not that I'm going to start writing to one and find a new best friend, but I'm really curious on thoughts as I'm not sure about the whole idea.
