Another one of these threads but whatever, please help me out.

Me and a friend are coming to Edinburgh in a few weeks just for the weekend 'cause it's her birthday. Neither of us have been before and we don't know where to start...can you recommend some nice cafes/places to eat/bars? Also any good hidden bookshops. She wants quaint bookshops.
