EMI in deep financial trouble

No doubt they, the BPI and whoever else wants to keep the anti-piracy movements momentum up will blame music piracy.

However, in this case the biggest loss was on poor Foreign Exchange Hedging. A mammoth £500m down the pan on a gamble. Twats. Might as well have taken the lot down the bookies and put it on the first horse/greyhoud race that was on.

I wonder if the other bleating corporations slip poor investment decisions into their losses when providing financial evidence to the impact of filesharing.
