at the moment I'm with the Co-op but over the last year and a half I've come to realise they're a laughably bad bank (online visa transactions being inexplicably down for days at a time, online banking not working, the pin in your card inexplicably not working for up to 24 hours at a time ie. YOU CAN'T TAKE ANY MONEY OUT, CHECK YOUR BALANCE OR BUY STUFF IN SHOPS OMG THE CO-OP SUCK)

anyway, I was just wondering if people could pssbly recommend a bank to change to.

my criteria are basically 1) they must provide a competent banking service.

that's about it.
