in the last crumpet thread, many disers advised me to try honey on crumpets ASAP. well, i'm eating one as we speak, and while it does taste rather nice there is one slight problem. it was waiting on my plate while i ate another one with something different on it and by the time i got to the honey covered one the honey'd gone all the way through the crumpet so most of it's on my plate. i only expected it to kind of get soaked up in the sponginess of the crumpet but to be kept IN the crumpet due to the solid bottom of it (lol, bottom).

so while it's an enjoyable experience as such, i doubt i'll be making a habit of it.

other crazy crumpet related things i should try? i've got about a dozen of them atm.
