when friends start blanking you

jesus_son [Edit] [Delete] 10:16, 17 February '10

say you have a really cool day, drinks are had, hangovers are survived, all kinds of grand plans are made, you come away pretty happy. but then they start acting really weird, not really talking to you properly, avoiding messages. so you take issue with this, act like a bit of a dick, argument ensues.

you apologise, apology is eventually accepted, and both parties say that all is well. but then the blanking and avoidance continues. you start to wonder what's behind it, but no explanation is forthcoming except that you're being annoying (which is undoubtedly true). you get caught in a cycle of getting worked up and pissed off that someone you considered really close could turn on a penny and get all distant. this pisses them off. ad infinitum.

cycle needs to be broken yes? but how when all there is on one side is silence?

this might be kind of a depressing thread. have you ever lost a best friend (like falling out, not dying or anything)? how did it happen?
