But Marvel is on the brink of being good again. After the depression-fest and M. Night Shitamalan twist surprises that have been plaguing the past five arcs (fuck you Bendis), Siege is shaping up as a victorious, final-boss beating, super happy explosion.

Civil War was a nice ago, WWH was just like Streets of Rage but green, Secret Invasion was very, very shonky after the initial 'this is cool', and Dark Reign has been dross, except for Parker Robbins' character development.

But this could be the return to form. Come on Bendis: do something GOOD.
