iS FUCKING PISSING ME OFF!!

Why do people who say they'll let you know if you've got a room just ignore you? Is it so hard to reply to a text/email/answer phone message and say "thanks for looking but we found someone more suitable, good luck with your search"???
Maybe it's a London thing because it seems really rude.
I'm new to all this gumtree-esque business of looking for room but so far it sucks!
