So Downfall is amazing. Bruno Ganz is just incredible. I can't wait to watch all the extras on the second disc at some point.

Anyway, watching it has reignited my interest in WW2 and really want to learn as much as I can. I covered a big in my History GCSE, so have a pretty basic knowledge, but nothing in too much detail.

Does anyone know any good DVD sets or books that I can get and get on learning?

I've heard of the World At War DVD boxset and it's on Play for £40. Has anyone seen it? Is it any good? Any other recommedations?

Also, would I get funny looks reading a biography of Hitler on the tube? After watching Downfall I'd love to learn more about him. Words don't do justice to the horrors commited by his hand and orders, but he's still history's most fascinating character.
