Happy Thursday, kiddo

xylopwn [Edit] [Delete] 09:28, 25 February '10

Tonight, I am going to get ahold of some venison burgers, top them with a very mature cheddar and maybe even some onion rings, rustle up some potato wedges and MAYBE even some garlic bread. It's going to be DELCIOUS.

Anyway, my question (linking to the venison) is this: if you have friends coming over from the states and they demand to eat 'The most British food there is,' what do you give them?

What do they NOT have over there that we do in abundance? Chutney? Pork pies? A good selection of game like rabbit and deer?

I want to make their visit culinarily happy, and I need ideas.

WHAT IS BRITISH FOOD?
