I've not even heard of these other browsers, partly because they appear to have stupid names (Sleipnir, K-meleon, Maxthon)

Has anybody got any experience with using any web browser apart from the big 5 (IE, chrome, firefox, opera, safari)

I wonder if it is worth giving another one a go. I currently use firefox mainly with IE on occasion

On a side note, with regards to the article, I can see why the other browser developers are complaining. Why make the screen a slide bar navigation? why not just display all browsers on one page
