Yeah, I realise this isn't current news by any means, but I've got a few days off, a passion for micro-roadtrips and some friends in Andover (so far, so Blues Brothers, right?) and was considering going up to see them and incorporating a trip to that Little Chef near Newbury which served as the showcase for the whole shebang into the deal.

To ensure full academic rigour is applied to this vital research mission it is my intention to eat at one of the common or garden Little Chefs between Bournemouth and Southampton too, so as to provide a proper comparative framework.
