So...the dust is settling after the first frenzied selling weekend in the USA. The iPad is now amongst our Yank cousins and the press have duly let us know what they have thought—i.e. their first impressions not based on the specification sheet when it was revealed in the States in January.

There are countless gushing reviews, from Stephen Fry writing in TIME to the entire Technology bureau at the Guardian going agog and soiling their undergarments cue several poorly constructed articles with flaky purposes and even more dubious "news".

I'm not going to buy one but I am now more curious about having a go and seeing what all the fuss is about. Anyone else?
