I'm waging a war against www.who-remembers-me.com

moker [Edit] [Delete] 11:13, 9 April '10

The spamming mother fuckers.

Basically, the way it works is they somehow get your email address from somewhere, then send an email saying "hey, someone remembers you!" then if you lick on the link, it takes you to a "please register" site. Obviously you don't bother, but if you did, you'd have to pay £5 (I found this out from reading forums about these wankers).

But, then what they do is send huge amounts of never ending spam to your account that always has a different email, thus cannot be binned.

I found from the same forums that "Rob" the "Managing Director" can be emailed at rob@who-remembers-me.com

But when I protested, he wrote back saying I have to register to remove myself. So, I'm currently in the process of forwarding him every bit of spam I get from WRM from now on.

They've apparently got ASA complaints again them too. Anyone else come across this bunch of c-hunts?
