you need to be a superhero to be able to flush the toilet in my mums house. at parties i can hear people doing the "flush...flush...flush...flush...flush...bigger flush...repeated flush...give up" flushing through the door. quite amusing.

in my old house, if you kicked the front door hard enough it would open without damaging the lock at all.

in one of my houses we had about 4 lights switches for about 7 lights in the hallway. you never knew which ones were going to come on and it was pretty impossible to get them all to come on at once.
