i've just come from my cousins' birthday party, they turned 6, and they had like 7 different cakes, and they get all sorts of cool presents and then they ran out into the sunshine to jump on the trampoline while us grownups were sat around talking about nothing in particular and all i have to show for is a hangover and an empty bank account and i only ever get boring stuff for my birthdays now.
