Mine were Andy Roberts, Darren Pitcher and Ricky Newman. I'd always get Darren Pitcher and Darren Patterson mixed up though. Both being called Darren and me being about 9.
It took me ages to remember Ricky Newman's name. Remembered what he looked like though from those player photographs you could get from the Palace shop in Croydon which were arranged on my wall in formation. 94-95 season team I think.

Never knew who any of those other than Roberts moved to from Palace.

So what players did you inexplicably like as a child? Eddie Mcgoldrick maybe?
