If a friend has changed his number without telling you...

hip_young_gunslinger [Edit] [Delete] 12:21, 16 April '10

it probably means he doesn't want to be friends any more, doesn't it?

:(

So, one of my best friends from uni has gone AWOL. At the end of our third year, he broke up with his girlfriend in a completely nuclear way, was left devastated (he was very sensitive) and decided he therefore hated his whole three years. After uni, we kept in touch fairly regularly, he got a new girlfriend (who he had met at uni) and things seemed fine.

But now, it seems he's changed his phone number, I don't have an email for him and his facebook hasn't been updated for about a year.

I think it might be complicate by the fact his ex (who I'm still good friends with) is now getting married. I wanted to speak to AWOL-friend about it face to face but could never see him... I'm sure he knows about the wedding (despite severing all contact with his ex), and probably feels I've been keeping it from him.

I know, TL:DR.

But, is it worth a last-ditch chance to communicate? Or should I accept one of my best friends (I thought) would just prefer it if we completely lost touch?
