But yeah, watched this yesterday and it really really pissed me off. I wasn't expecting much but it was just awful. I don't know anything about what it's like to be at war. Nothing at all, but that didn't seem real at all. It's about a fucking rebel who doesn't play by the rules but has a heart of gold for fucks sake. Slow motion bullet casings come falling to the ground. I mean seriously, what the fuck? I just don't get it. It's as if they didn't even try and get ideas of first hand experience.

Generation Kill at least seemed to have more to it. But then it was a lot longer and had some character depth to it.

So the five oscar nominated films I've seen were all pretty disappointing.
Not too sure why I bother watching them though.
What good oscar winners have their been in the last 10 or so years for Best Film.
