So, as I said the other week, we've done a deal with Blackberry Messenger to sponsor DiS and give away this amazing prize http://drownedinsound.com/news/4139789-win-tickets-to-dis-favourite-festivals

They have sponsored the site for the next 2 weeks, and when the money comes through, this will pay for FINALLY fixing the site.

Anyone complaining about why we've done this instead of fixing the little bugs, I'd just like to clarify that THIS IS NOT A REDESIGN and I'm really sorry but we're not some massive website with huge funds to fix things on our site which is 10 years old and falling apart. To be honest, we actually lost a fair sum of money last year, and implementing these changes have been done as quickly and simply as possible. I didn't want to have to turn the boards background black but without spending several days fixing broken bits of code, we've been forced to do it.

A big campaign like this enables the site to continue with another six months. However, if anyone has any major issues caused by this design tweak (in some resolutions and screen brightnesses the text at the top might be a bit faint) but please let me know. We've finally got a development area sorted and have begun fixing issues with the site and we're working on a much simpler and more reliable version of the site which will ready in the coming months.
