The event has been running all afternoon, and is going to culminate in a few awesome shows this evening. At 5.45, there is a world record breaking attempt getting underway as a young mixologist from the northern quarter is going to attempt to mix 700 different cocktails in the space of one hour. (afterwards, we get to drink these, I imagine. Oh yes.) There is also a talk at 8pm on the history of tiki, and lots of other stalls which will be giving free sips of their delicious wares.

I am going along partly to network, partly to provide support (one of my best mates is giving the talk on Tiki); and partly to party (700 is a lot of cocktails).
