what do you think the 'relationship deal-breakers' thread says about us?

michael_w [Edit] [Delete] 20:59, 27 May '10

are these the inflated hopes of our generation? do we feel like we should deserve perfection or summit?

i mean....i know that simply stating a preference does not automatically mean you are on a search for perfection, sure....most of that thread is just people saying what sort of person they dig....completely fine.

but then...at the same time, sometimes in that thread it also feels like people are gonna need hella luck if they're gonna bump into someone that ticks the boxes....and even more luck if they're gonna make somethign stick.

should we just settle like they did in the 50's?

i dunno....i'm sort of in awe of people that can find each other and stick together, and seem perfectly suited.

i think i need to get this idea of heady, all-consming love out of my head...and take back the volume of keats' letters that i got yesturday with my birthday vouchers, that won't help things.

any thoughts?
