I am almost definitely going to India this December, for something like a month. I want to go to all of the five largest metropolises (Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai--and will probably spend the most time in the latter, as it's the home of the friend with whom I'm going) and probably the countryside in the north, but my plans are still pretty open. Wherever you've been in India, what would you recommend doing/seeing/eating there?
