i've felt numb since saturday, and it seems like that's the general mood of most i've spoken to about the World Cup. thought i'd spice up the thread with portugese...not working for me. trying to remember what it's like not having three international games a day and that's making me feel more privileged, but only a bit. some news:

-Wenger says fear of failure is stifling the big European sides.

-US to complain about their Mali official in the Slovakian game. nothing will come of it presumably, but he was appalling.

-Yellow cards will be rescinded after the 2nd round, rather than right after the group stages, meaning less chance of missing finals.
