I was in New York last week and had a great time, thanks for asking.
I particularly enjoyed this exchange between my girlfriend and a waitress in a diner as we ordered breakfast:

MG: Can I have a cheese omelette please?
W: Sure, you want American cheese?
MG: What's American cheese?
W: Yellow cheese!
MG: Okay, that sounds nice. Thank you!

What she got was an omelette with two kraft cheese slices on it. Oh, and some ham, but that's another story.

Anyone got any cheese/food ordering stories?
