yeah i'm going thread crazy but its dead so why not

basically i have always had somewhat of an interest in philosophy but have always been too dumb (i am not an intelligent) and haven't ever dared to read up on it, maybe for fear of not being able to understand it, or for fear of myself having bamnan-esque views of the world. i dunno. but now i am still a dumb guy but i am at least going to try and see what happens. so if anyone has any recommendations for good beginner philosophy reads (i really wish there was an equivalent of HORRIBLE HISTORY for this. maybe PATHETIC PHILOSOPHY - NEEDY NIHILISM or something) and anything i should work towards (more advanced stuff or whatever) then that would be completely great of you.
