100 days of coalition

htbetween29and30 [Edit] [Delete] 12:27, 18 August '10

Hows it gone do you think? Better or worse than expected?

Although the cuts have been pretty drastic, they haven't (yet) affected me quite as hard as I expected. I'm sure there'll be more to come as time time goes on but I don't think there's been any real nasty surprises - nothing that wasn't likely to happen under a Conservative Government anyway.

The most disappointing part for me has been Clegg. I thought he did well pre-election but his willingness to about turn and get into line quite so close behind Cameron has been a bit galling.

Interesting comments from Simon Hughes here though, I like him.

As long as there's people like him willing to challenge the coalition line, I think the Lib Dems have a chance of not being entirely damned by association come the next election.
