He was very very good footballer, playing at his peak whilst at the team i support. He is England's top scorer in world cups, and second top scorer of all time, with a scoring rate up there with some of the best. He never got booked, and whilst playing football and since, has never been a cunt.

He has succeeded where the vast majority fail by changing form sportsman to media star and is without doubt the best football presenter around. He is eloquent, pretty buff, and embracing his grey hairs.

Even his divorce was amicable.

I met him on April 14th 1990, and he was really nice to me. I also met Cyril Regis that day.
