Nah so I'm thinking of signing on right. But the thing is, I actually have a job but haven't started yet. It takes the NHS a long long time to do police checks and get all your shit sorted, even longer when they fuck up the postage of stuff.

Anyway, so let's say I start in 3 weeks. Will I still be able to sign on and get a wee bit of money or am I a fucking chancer?
Someone talk me through the process. I just call up, answer some questions and I'm set?
