Homophobia in comedy

Zapsta [Edit] [Delete] 19:03, 23 August '10

seems to be acceptable. Well maybe not homophobia *per se*, but deriving humour simply from the fact that somebody is gay, or that somebody's a big, flouncing queen. Nothing contextual to it, just "He is gay: that's the joke". I wouldn't say I'm offended by it, because I'm dead inside, or even that it makes me feel uncomfortable at the time of watching, but in retrospect, it does make me wonder "How are they allowed to get away with that?" What say you? Especially the benders on here: how do you feel about this?
