Finding new bits of London

vamos [Edit] [Delete] 10:38, 26 August '10

Being freelance means I keep finding new bits. It's good. I like wandering around, preferably with Holy Fuck blasting out of the iPod.

This week, I found that all those buildings past Tower Bridge on the south side of the river aren't in fact derelict but all snazzily regenerated. It's been done pretty tastefully too. Obviously it's a bit posho, but the stretch between the Design Museum and Mayor's office is a really interesting stroll, full of old Wharf signage and cranes. I know, I know... welcome to 2002.

I also found a new little Market Square just off Green Park. Out of the tube, walk along Hyde Park westwards and then head up White Horse St. There is a row of great pubs and restaurants. Again, a bit posho but as there's precious little else around there it's rather handy for a pint.

Where have you found recently?
