Autumn International thread weekend 1

LordLuciusBanter [Edit] [Delete] 11:13, 8 November '10

England lose a winnable game against a frankly sloppy All Blacks after gifting them two tries in the opening minutes.

England could've come back into it, but two passages of play where they could've scored were butchered by England playing like school children. Guess that balances out as Hartley's try was offside and a double movement.

Meealmu will hopefully have the book thrown at him. Disgusting player, disgusting actions. Hartley should be cited too, nasty piece of work he is.

Didn't see Wales as it was clashing with England, but sounded typically, well, Welsh. Go behind, brave comeback, fall short.

Ireland were dreadful for about 60 minutes against a poor South African team who just picked off Irish mistakes. In such bad weather, why didn't Ireland play the phases? The impact Donnacha Ryan made on ball retention was incredible, and ROG turned back the clock to inspire a near comeback. I honestly thought the conversion had gone over.

International rugby - great stuff.
