Recent comedy (HIGNFY / Him & Her / Hebburn / etc)

vamos [Edit] [Delete] 16:41, 9 December '13

A few things.

HIGNFY got really shit about 5 years back, then got great again 2 series ago but has been rubbish again this year. This weeks was great though, largely because Kathy Burke was the first decent host of the run and because Miles Jupp is my utter hero and should be on the show every week. More good guests and hosts please rather than shit people or MPs who don't deserve any more airtime.

Hebburn is lovely, innit? Really love the show. Reminds me of the gentle humour of Saxondale or Early Doors. Really enjoyed this series and just seeing all the characters develop. Won't win any comedy awards but it's basically a northern version of Gavin & Stacey which I find funny.

Him & Her seems to be coming to an end now too. Up to episode 4 and the wedding is making me more squeamish than Sophie & Mark's from Peep Show. Interestingly, Sophie's Dad is at this one too so note to future wedding organisers - DON'T INVITE HIM. Really hope it all ends well for Steve as I love him and Becky.

WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING? IS IT ANY OF THESE 3? I BET YOU ALL HATE THEM, EH?
