Work colleagues with worrying opinions

wonton [Edit] [Delete] 11:51, 16 December '13

At work yesterday, a colleague of mine was coming out with some pretty backward opinions whilst talking to me. I made it clear that I disagreed, but would hardly say I called them out partly because I wasn't conviniced the two other people present would back me up. So far this is something you just shrug off and forget...but I work in an environment where these opinions really don't fit. It is part of the interview process to eek out these views...however this colleague is an agency member, and therefore had a different assessment procedure. Is more confrontation needed? Or a report to superiors?
