Meantime have released this for xmas and apparently this is leading to the rise in prices for craft beers/ales.

I'd probably buy it to try it. £12 isn't that much. I did pay £10.80 for 2 330ml bottles of 5.4% ale in Tap East the other week. No mention of toast please.
