I'm going in March for a weekend and it's surely a city that should have a proper travel thread.

Here's my current plan.

Friday: Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps
Saturday: Pompeii
Sunday: Vatican City

I bet loads of you have been to Rome. What did you do? Was it worth it?
