I got 99 problems, and a netbook is one (IT boffin thread)

Right, so whenever I click on a site that has media on it (embedded videos, youtube, vine etc) the whole computer just freezes up - can't move the cursor, mp3's start skipping etc. After a while it'll regain normality and I'll get a dialogue box telling me a script on the page has stopped working. Happens all the time. Tried reinstalling flash, tried running a scan on malwarebytes. It's only a shitty little netbook with a gig of ram, but surely that should be enough for simple web use. Windows 7, browsing on FF.

I've tried the post office and I've put it in a bowl of rice, before anyone asks.
