Just realised Wild Nothing did a new record last year as I saw it on Spotify – ‘Empty Estate’.

It’s awful.

I’ve got one of the songs on now and he’s talking the verses as loads of keyboards buzz around in the background.

There were a lot of good bands around 09-10-11 that are absolute crap now weren’t there? He’s someone who you’d think “this guy has nailed producing and knows exactly how to make music sound good.” Hope he’s not lost the plot completely, cos that album is almost as horrible as its album art.
